Dark Italian is roasted about ¾ of the way to the second crack. This gives a dark, muted taste of chocolate. This dark roast has just a little bit more smokiness than a typical medium roast. It is a blend of Central and South American coffees. The Dark Italian Blend pairs very well with a donut in the morning or a hint of cream.
